For anyone who says that cats are boring pets, let this thread be the proof that they are wrong. Cats are the opposite of boring. Yes, they sleep about sixteen hours a day, they poop and eat and clean themselves for another four, but the four that are left, those hours are not boring. Those hours are full of nothing but madness. Cats are such hooligans. Cats steal food right off your plate with no shame whatsoever. Cats sit on your laptops to warm their booties with no consideration for their cost. Cats give you mini heart attacks with their uncontrollable screeching because they got stuck inside of the closet that they weren't supposed to go into in the first place.
And the worst thing… the worst thing is when cats ruin your sleep. It could be when they wake you up at exactly 7am on a Saturday morning because that's their usual feeding time, and they refuse to wait even five minutes. It could be them waking you up in the middle of the night because they did something dumb and got themselves in trouble again. Or it could be - apparently - them not allowing you to fall asleep in the first place.

Honestly, we don't know what we would have done had our cats been so problematic at nighttime. They're problematic enough and never listen to us even during the daytime. We wish you much luck dealing with your little menace, and we wish ourselves that it'll never happen with our cats lol.
