You don't have to ride the New York subway for long to realize that it's a place where people can and will do just about anything. Sure, the MTA supposedly have a bunch of rules to put a stop to this, but does this work? Of course not. Public transit is a slice of life, and that isn't always pretty (at all).
Long story short, anyone who is a frequent passenger is not likely to bat an eye at most things that go on underground. It's mystifying, then, why one individual decided that is was strange that a woman near them on the train had decided to take her laptop out and work. When this picture was shared to Twitter, users were deeply confused by the fact that they were acting like this was out of the ordinary. Apparently working remotely is something that is new to whoever thought this was weird.
