19 Dads And The Pets They "Didn't Want", But Ended Up With Fur-ever Friends

We all know those ornery dads who don't like change. Especially when it comes to welcoming a new furry friend into their home. However, these dads ended up having a change of heart and became the most loving and devoted pet parents out there! They quickly learned the joys of having a pet, like the unconditional love and loyalty they provide, as well as the laughter and entertainment they bring to the household.

Now they're napping together (are you even a dad if you don't nap on the couch?), sharing meals together, and having adventures….it's clear that they have now formed unbreakable bonds with their furry friends. It just goes to show that sometimes, the things we least expect can end up bringing us the greatest joy. These dads and their pets are the purrrfect example!

Sorry to say, Hubs, but you've been trained by these cats. Don't be embarrassed, it happens to all of us. It starts with a simple responding to their meows with your own meows, the next thing you know you have a flow chart and Venn diagram ready to explain them to strangers.

We aspire to find this level of comfort in our home, especially with a tiny little pupper napping on top of us! Okay, our dog is too big for this to really work, but it still looks really comfy. We're jealous, and they look super cute together.
