'What's the worst dating experience you've ever had?': Redditors confess their worst, most cringeworthy first dates

First dates can go south for a number of reasons. Maybe there's no spark between you. Maybe they don't have the same beliefs as you do. Or maybe you might have just accidentally gone on a date with a future serial kiIIer and now they know where you live. Oh boy. Sure there are things that can be overlooked on a first date, like being nervous or awkward, but if the vibes are off with a person, that can lead to some of the cringiest most uncomfortable dates in the world. 

For example, if your date starts crying about their ex during appetizers, they're not ready for you yet, sis. 

Sometimes, it's worth throwing the fish you caught back in the sea– especially if they're sporting every red flag under the sun, royally catfished you, or they are simply giving 'ethnic-cleansing' vibes. For those of us who have ever been on a bad date, it is comforting to know that someone out there on Reddit has had way way way way worse.
