Twitter Learns That Cheetahs Don't Roar, They Actually Meow, And The Reactions Are Hissterical (Viral Tweets)

There are so many things that we love about big cats, like how fierce they are, how beautiful, how majestic. But one of the things that we love the most about them is that, sometimes, big cats can act so much like house cats. Seriously, big cats react to catnip the same way that house cats do. Big cats can do bleps the same way that house cats can. And some big cats, perhaps unexpectedly, also meow just like itty bitty house cats.

No matter how much you prepare yourselves for it, we promise you that if you've never heard a cheetah meow before, nothing will lessen the shock of it for you. That sound is the last sound you would expect to come out of an animal like that. Which is why we love it even more. It's so unexpected and ridiculous in a way that all it makes us want to do is go out there and… pet a cheetah or something.

Nothing, nothing, nothing could have prepared us for that sound, and we've even heard it before. It's just- looking at this majestic, incredible, fierce and dangerous creature and then hearing that is so insanely unexpected. We love it so much.

Yep, we also want to go out there and become best friends with a cheetah after watching this. Like, we already wanted to before, because no self-respecting crazy cat person doesn't want to pet some cheetahs, but now, we want to even more. If not cat, why meow?
