Having human children is not for everybody. There are a lot more stressful responsibilities that comes with raising a child. You gotta keep them alive AND make sure they don't grow up to be total a-holes… It's something that keeps parents up at night for the rest of their lives after having kids. How are millennials handling this? By deciding not to have kids and instead, have pets! If you ask us, animals don't usually grow up to be a-holes. If you raise them with love and enough freedom that they feel safe, you're guaranteed a loyal bestie for the rest of their life. Boomer parents might be bummed that their millennial kids aren't choosing to provide them with all the human grandbabies they want, but some are starting to come to terms with the fact that their going to be grandparents to animals. And what's so bad about that?
One boomer grandma has really blossomed into her role as a grandparent to a chicken named Nubz who has to wear boots because he's missing feet, has a huge spicy personality, and loves to dance. In fact, him and his grammy love to dance together and she spoils him in all the little chicken booties he wants! He's not only an adorably spoiled chicken with a great loving grandma, but also a very fashionable chicken. His millennial mom found him through a deal she was already striking on Facebook marketplace. She went to go pick up some items she was getting for free from a random woman, and when she told this woman she had chickens, she went and brought out Nubz for her to also take for free. Now he's living his best chicken life!
