There is no online community like the gamer community, and you can't change our minds on that. They fight like angsty teens—probably because a lot of them are teens and pre-teens… But even the adults argue like they're still going through puberty. However, they also come together like no others, whether it's teaming up in a game, or meeting each other in real life at conventions or gamer meetups—once you became besties in the game, you have a bestie IRL for life. So it's no surprise that gamers have passionate discussions on Reddit.
On the subreddit r/AskWomen user @definitelynotgod posed the question "who is the hardest video game boss that you've ever fought?' and women gamers flooded the discussion with their thoughts. You'd think it would mostly be more contemporary games, like Elden Ring or even Resident Evil 4, since technology has gotten more complicated, you'd think the video game bosses would get more difficult. But actually, turns out back in the day of renting games from Blockbuster, developers straight up made it almost impossible to get passed two levels to ensure you wouldn't beat the game too quickly and you'd have to rent it again. So there are a lot of gamers admitting their first impossible boss battle was even before they were gaming online.
Did you struggle battling any of these video game bosses?
