Who decided that big 'ol creepy rabbit was the mascot for Easter? It's understandable that you'd want it to feel springtime-y and happy, so pastel colors like the flowers blooming and cute little baby animals that are starting to be born. But like… That is NOT what the Easter bunny is. The Easter bunny has been scarring children during this holiday since it's invention. It's apparently based off of a tradition brought of by the German immigrants in the 1700s—lore about an egg-laying hare named "Osterhase"… Old traditions are creepy AF. We are definitely going to start celebrating this spring holiday with a cuter mascot. We love bunnies, so we don't want to lose that aspect, but we are also all crazy cat ladies… Sooooo, CUTE EASTER BUNNY CATS!
That's right, it's time for our feline friends to take over the position of the Easter bunny. Because, quite frankly, the Easter bunny has just no been doing it's job. We will NOT accept any human dressing up as an East bunny cat, though. Real cats ONLY. We don't want anybody making this adorable Easter mascot creepy too… Anyways, here are some kitties we think we be purrfect for the job!
