You might see some wild things on the job as a hotel security guard. These two tales from the front desk are just a glimpse at how crazy this job might actually be.
Our first tale involves a late night after a wedding reception. The security guard spotted a gentleman from the party wearing a button-down and what initially appeared to be shorts, when in fact, he was actually covering himself with a hoodie to avoid his, shall we say, swimsuit area. I guess you don't see that every day!
Our second tale shows you that these guards sometimes have to put up with specific behavior beyond their job description. In this case, we have a paranoid lady obsessed with getting fingerprints from her hotel room sent to her. We feel for the guard who had to improvise on the spot to deal with this lady and ensure she was ok. Clearly, he was very good at his job.
