Amazing Video Shows New Idea To Combat Pollution, Training Birds To Pick Up Trash And Receive Rewards (Pictures & Video)

On today's episode of "How lazy can humans be?" we're talking about trash, and how it's becoming a smelly problem for everyone. The amount of plastic and trash we throw away is astronomically high, and some people don't even have the common decency to throw it in the garbage can. Luckily, to combat these garbage people, some researchers have tried to train birds to pick up trash in public and bring it to a designated center where they can throw away the trash and receive a small amount of food as a reward.

Normally we would say something like "Wow, this is really cool!", but honestly, we just think it's sad. It's sad that we have to train birds to pick up our trash instead of training people to have the common decency to at least throw their garbage in a garbage can. Yes, we're happy the birds are getting a good deal out of this, but we would rather feed them some bread and not force them to pick up after us. The video is still cool though, and it's just another example of how smart birds are! Enjoy!
