Husky Encounters A Robodog For The First Time, Its Reaction Is Funny As Heck (Twitter Thread)

As technology continues to evolve at a rapid pace, we find ourselves getting more and more… spooked. Some inventions are just weird! You can't argue that. But a part of us knows that technology is weird and getting weirder, so a part of us is prepared for it. Our pets on the other hand… are not prepared at all for these technological wonders. Now, we have seen animals react to technology before. We have seen a stray cat family get befuddled by a robot delivering food to them. We have seen cheetahs lose their minds over a robodog. And today, we get to see an actual dog react to a robodog.

Of course, huskies are always goofy and have fun and funny reactions to things, but this reaction right here - to this weird unnatural looking doggo - is the most insane one we have seen by far. And the fact that it happened in such a natural setting in such a natural way… this is a glimpse into the future, guys.

    If this really is a glimpse into the future, then we are seriously not sure that we're ready. We don't like seeing this precious doggo confused and spooked. And honestly, we probably would have been spooked by this ourselves too.

    More than anything, after seeing this video, we hope that people will take into consideration the effect that these robotic toys might have on the animals around them. Like- we get that it's funny now, because it's so new and strange, but generally, we don't think that you should be letting your robodogs chase other dogs.
