Cat Brings Baby Rabbit Home, Leads Hooman Back to Rabbit’s Nest, Rabbit Reunites With Fluffy Family (Viral Video)
Some animal stories are just so genuinely heartwarming that they're difficult to believe — so it's a good thing this one was caught on camera. A woman named Vera filmed her cat Ellie, who came back with a baby rabbit in its jaws. At first, Vera was alarmed, but luckily Ellie meant no harm… in fact, the baby rabbit looked perfectly healthy with a big round tummy, so obviously the baby's momma fed it well. Initially, Vera had no idea what to do with the rabbit, but Ellie obviously did, because she set out on a mission to take her back to the baby's nest.
It was pitch black outside, but Ellie bravely led the way in the dark. In no time, Vera was steered towards a bunch of fluff on the ground, which she realized was rabbit's fur. Underneath there was a whole family of baby rabbits, and Vera released the small critter, which wriggled its way back into its nest. Ellie deserves a cheerleading squad of her own for being so smart.
