Font - This happened about an hour ago, and I'm still smiling about the ridiculousness of the people I encountered. The city I live in is on a lot of lists that contain the words "cities to visit in **** region of Poland" making tourists a daily encounter. This also means Americans... Oh boy are they a handful.

Font - In my region, the temperature was around 3-7 degrees for all of March, and some of April, but not too long ago it spiked to 15-20 degrees and because of that I'm walking in shorts and a T-shirt pretty much every day, even when there's no sun and it's raining. Some Americans here walk in a winter coat when it gets godd to 10 degrees.

Font - Every other day I have to walk to school, which I don't complain about, I have only 1km to school when I know some people that drive at 6 am to get here just in time. This also means I try to make it as comfortable as I can, and my walks in a hoodie started being moist town after coming back from school or going to school, so I decided to walk in a T-shirt and shorts.

Font - After leaving my house and getting to the main street's sidewalk I was looking at the cars passing by. I can tell when someone is a tourist as they don't turn on lights when they're in a car, which must be turned on at all times, its understandable as most countries around the world don't require daylights. There's a way to show people with your hand that says "Hey, your lights are off, turn em on" but most tourists of course don't understand it. One car I spotted, also with lights off, w

EM I said what the f was that sign you flashed when we passed Me: Your lights are off, you need to have them on EM: I know the law better than you, I'm a godd lawyer, you don't tell me what I know and don't know. Me: Don't be upset when you get a 300$ ticket (For context: Police in my city does NOT like tourists) EM: Also, why the h skimpily dressed? Me: It's hot outside? are you so

Font - EM: I'm freezing my a off talking to you, its not hot out, go back to your house and dress accordingly Me: I am dressing accordingly, I live here, I'm used to the climate, and so I dress how I feel comfortable in EM: Where's your mother Me: Leave me alone, find someone else to bother. EM: I'm not done with you, COME BACK, I'M SPEAKING TO YOU

Font - Me: Spierdalaj turysto jebany ("Fk off you da tourist" In polish) The entitled mother knew what I said, because she started yelling, idk what she yelled but it consisted of "Fk" and "B" a lot. I kept walking to school laughing at how absurd this whole ordeal was. idk what was their goal but neither do I care.

Font - clotheslessnz If someone objects to what you're wearing, just remove the clothes they don't like. Idk For some reason that makes them more angry.

Font - Morbo2142 I never understand what people expect yelling at strangers, especially in a foreign country. What's the angle, do they thing people will acquiesce to this foreign weirdos demands? They would be ped of you went to suburban h where they live and tell them to take off that jacket when it was 10 C. One thing to keep in mind: most Americans don't have the money or time to travel overseas. Most of us limit international travel to Mexico or Canada. The proportion of entitled rich a s i

Font - itsnotimportant2021 I had a buddy in college that wore shorts and sandals every day in Missouri, where winter is 5 to -20 C in the winter. Also we're not all jerks; lots of people in this country, but the wealtier ones tend to be jerks and wealthier people travel more internationally.

Font - jphilipre I'm sorry for that. I'm an American and as the adage is, "when in Rome, do as the Roman's do." The arrogance to do what they did astounds me.
