'11pm is NOT the appropriate time': Employer follows up with job candidate in the middle of the night, candidate withdraws application

Imagine this guy becoming your boss! If he's making a follow-up call at 11 pm, you know he's going to be a major problem as your employer. Some people have no understanding of boundaries or have extremely antiquated ideas of how to tell if a candidate is "serious." Calling them in the middle of the night is not a fair way to tell; it's just crazy.

 

This thread was posted to Reddit by u/ReneeStone27, who explained that she could tell there were red flags immediately upon meeting this guy in person. Not only did he seem annoyed by state-mandated sick days, but he also wouldn't budge when it came to the complete lack of benefits for the position.
