May day is traditionally a celebration of the working people, so naturally I'm paying homage to it by working. We've come a long way over the years when it comes to worker's rights, but it doesn't always feel that way when you're on your third day of unpaid overtime in a row. Work keeps us busy, that's for sure, but it can also make us tired and stressed to an extent that it shouldn't. Most of us don't get the easy way out of doing less of it, either.
This means that we have to turn to alternative means to keep us going through it all. Memes are an obvious method for papering over the cracks, and part of the reason they're so great is that we don't have to use them to pretend that everything is amazing and fine. It helps that they're humorous as well. We need at least one part of the work day to be amusing, even if that involves slacking off.
Pure skill.
A daily struggle.
Perfect.
Go away.
So smooth.
Save me.
Oops.
Guilty.
You've gotta enjoy it.
Seriously.
Would you look at that.
Appreciate it!
Finders keepers.
We're good people now.
I'm so intelligent :)
