The Shiba Inu is a Japanese dog breed that was once revered for it's muscular form and genius IQ. Now they're more known for being the plushiest, silliest, most derptastic good boy on the market and have literally become a meme by simply being themselves. One of the OG memes from the earliest days of the Internet stars a Shiba and it's certainly not because he looked like an avid hunter and capable predator– far from it –Shiba's disrespect their formative ancestors by becoming floofy lapdogs with a blank stare, curly tail, and posh lifestyle. Only a half step away from the cuteness of Hello Kitty, these Shibas may not be intimidating, but they certainly have proven to be the most pawdorable fluff balls out there.
