There are days when I long for the Internet of five years ago. Everything feels so different now, and I don't know how to feel about it. Back in 2017, memes wouldn't just be a blip in the night, becoming popular one day and vanishing the next. Every meme had a little more staying power, and once a meme hit the internet, everybody was rushing to do their spin on it. Who could forget this classic Twitter format from the days of yore?

In 2017, you could quote Bee Movie and get hundreds of thousands of likes on your posts just like that! These days, I find it harder to find genuinely funny memes by and for the normie community. Jokes about Friends and The Office just don't cut it anymore, and to be honest, it's sad to see. All we can do is make evergreen Frasier jokes and hope for the best.
