Happy Graduation season, everybody! I hope that everyone in the Class of 2023 is having a splendid time with their grad parties, grad dinners, and general celebration of their academic achievements.
From my experience, graduation ceremonies can either be an intimate and touching end to your schooling experience or a bit of a drag. I felt that way about my high school and college graduation, respectively. My high school graduation only had 720ish kids, as opposed to my college's 12,000+ grads. I was so much happier for high school to be over, making the graduation feel so much more cathartic. I'm the oldest child, so that was the first time our nuclear family got to do the whole graduation rigamarole, and I loved it. A whole week where everybody was obsessed with me and my singular accomplishment? What could be better than that? After my college graduation, I felt a distinct sense of dread, knowing that I was about to enter the real world. If you're going through that right now, might I offer you some graduation memes in this trying time?
