We don't know about you guys, but growing up, we've envisioned that prince charming would sweep us off our feet and we'd ride off into the sunset for our happily ever. We've always imagined him to be sweet, respectful, and to be an incredibly loving companion by our side. But as we all know, life doesn't always turn out that way.
Life has a habit of throwing all sorts of curveballs in our direction. We soon begin to realize that our idealized version of prince charming is a bit… out of touch with reality… to say the least. In the real world, meeting a gentleman who will love and care for you forever and ever is not as easy as it seemed when we were younger.
And even when you do finally find 'the one' - there's no guarantee that a few years into the marriage he won't do a pull 180 and start yelling at you because you asked for help with rolling burritos. Gross.
