There was no one at the customer service desk and I was busy helping other customers. He made go outside and hand-deliver his personal lunch from his wife's hands to his. The absolute disrespect of that moment has not left me. I immediately went over his head and put my two weeks notice in.

    Talk about poor management!

Final straw was when I worked a management-approved 17-hour shift, and I saw no double-time on my check. When I brought it up to the owner, he said double-time was against company policy. Things got ugly. He eventually paid in full. I quit.

    Font - AlwaysNipping. 4 hr. ago Second round of layoffs was coming, so I went and found a new job. Turns out I wasn't going to get laid off in that second round, but the company was clearly not financially stable.
