Have you ever dreamed about traveling the world but you simply want to just beam yourself to each new location. Nobody wants to deal with TSA, airports, long lines, fumbling your passport, walking 10 miles, uncomfortable taxi seats, and managing logistical nightmares. We just want to see the exotic travel-y stuff from the comfort of our bed. Well that's exactly what Spongecake the Scottish fold does. He travels the world with his owner and two catto siblings, leisurely exploring the planet from the comfort of his kitty backpack.

One man decided that in his 30's he wanted to travel the world, but he had his three cats to consider. Could he somehow travel the world AND keep his cats? Over the last year, he has traveled to most major world cities and has brought his cats along for the ride. They've enjoyed cooling off in the Venice canals, stretching out in Times Square, and munching catnip in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Spongecake in particular has become an Internet sensation largely because he's the kitty that doesn't need to be in the backpack the most. In fact, Spongecake's amazing balance is what earns him the top spot in our hearts because not only does he hang out with his owner all day, but he naps on his shoulder as they walk to new landmarks. This Scottish fold is literally the sugar baby that we all wish we were, jet-setting with his bankrolling Daddy and enjoying the sites to be seen with no cares in the world.

This orange cat angel must think that he's been sent back to Heaven. With each nap, he's teleported to the next location, opening his beady copper eyes to new wonders at every turn. Does he know how wonderful his life is? The Internet has grown jealous not only of the cats but the owner as well. He's managed to balance the lives of his 3 best friends while solo traveling the world as the sole adult (obviously the cattos are not helping with any bookings or tours). So if you've got the travel bug and a gaggle of furball friends at home, don't let that stop you. Live life to the fullest, your kitty will probably thank you.
