Going to Disney World is not cheap. I'd argue that going on a European vacation is more affordable than going to Disney World for a week and staying in an on-property hotel. You have to buy park tickets, hotel rooms, and food for the week, and that's not to mention that you now have to pay for Fast Passes and any other extra experience in the park. The days of affordable Disney vacations are long behind us, and if you can go to the parks for any discounted rate, you should be grateful.
A father with extra airline points decided it would be kind to pay for his brother and sisters-in-law to come on his family's Disney World vacation. He paid for their whole family's flights, hotel, and park tickets. Unfortunately, they did not accept his offer with gratitude and complained that they would be staying in a hotel paid for by airline points.
