'How to make everyone's day': Wholesome gas station give $5 of free gas to anybody who walks in doing a little dance

Getting gas for your car is one of those menial tasks that you have to do, but nobody's ever happy about it. In fact, gas stations are sort of the wayward stop between where you were and where you're going, so it's a little bit like the convenience store version of purgatory. Not only that, but the vibes are usually way off in a gas station. Well, one gas station in the middle of nowhere has recently flipped the script on classic gas station notions by putting a nice little twist on wholesomeness that even the most-transient people can be happy about.

This isn't your typical gas station where you have angry employees that are tired of dodging scary vagrants and wading through cigarette butts and broken glass in the parking lot. This crew of gas station fairies are the God mother we all wish we had, spreading joy and good vibes instead of curt responses and lottery tickets. They put a sign on the front door saying that anyone walking in doing a silly dance would get $5 of free gas– $10 if the staff really liked it. 

The security footage shows the most wholesome response. You'd think that folks trapped in gas station purgatory would be unresponsive to a playful request on the front door, but $5 is $5 so a lot of people got in the spirit, quickly dancing their favorite jig and looking to the cashier for approval. 

A surprising number of people participated in the challenge– some more skilled than others– but it seems like everyone got the message that day to not take life so seriously all the time, even when you're in the bleakest environment. 

One man even got his twerking on dial in the pork rind aisle, showing this gas station what he's made of. If only these sort of good vibes took over every gas station, it might not be as lame to have to run your errands anymore. If you're wondering, the older woman in the white shirt and man-bun guy (the twerker) got the full $10 off. They earned it.
