'You can't park here’: Karen gets citation after demanding deaf woman move car to handicapped space, stating ‘normal’ spots are for non handicapped people

Parking lot debacles are becoming more commonplace, with Karens running rampant, who are quick to call the cops whenever they feel like being a martyr. Whether it is to gain some 'good person' points or because they're bored and in need of attention, it's something that is perplexing and frustrating for people worldwide. In this case, OP borrowed her father's minivan, which had a handicap plate, to go to Walmart. Even though OP was deaf, they didn't park in a handicapped space because being deaf doesn't qualify for handicapped parking. OP parked in a normal spot instead.

When OP got out of the car, Karen approached her and began yelling. OP signed that she couldn't understand what Karen was saying, but Karen continued to point at the van and scream her lungs out. At that point, OP ignored her and entered the Walmart. When OP came back out, she saw that Karen had called the cops, and an officer was standing next to Karen.

OP had no idea what Karen wanted but quickly learned that Karen was upset that OP had parked in a normal spot instead of a handicapped spot. Karen had called the cops because she believed that OP was doing something illegal… under the assumption she had a disability. Scroll down to read what happened next.
