Managers who don't know how to maneuver workplace issues that pop up can often be as daunting as they are annoying, making employees wish they never would have joined the establishment in the first place. Sometimes this leads to a last straw or two, causing the employees to say 'adios'. In this case, OP took to r/Serverslife to complain about how the management at the restaurant he was working at was dragging their feet to fix literally anything. Among things that weren't working, there were 2 clogged sinks, a leaking machine, and a dishwasher that wasn't properly cleaning dishes.
When OP asked management for updates, all he got was the cold shoulder and some long, drawn-out 'um's'. OP said he had never felt so disgusted to work somewhere in his entire life. Unfortunately, he couldn't quit without another job in place. OP then asked Redditors what the final straw was for them in their own first-serving job that caused them to quit. For those who have worked in the service industry, the replies were all too relatable.
