Girlfriend Surprises Her Boyfriend By Bringing Home a Puppy, Gets Bamboozled When He Takes Her Out to His Truck for Another Pawdorable Surprise

Everyone has that irresponsible dream of bringing a puppy home to surprise their significant other. It's wildly inappropriate to buy someone a dog without their knowledge, but it's also a thrilling childhood fantasy that everyone secretly wishes to fulfill. The head knows better, but the heart wants what it wants. 

A surprise puppy can be unpredictable at best, which is exactly what a woman named Chelsea learned when she tried to surprise her boyfriend with his dream dog: a basset hound. Since he was a boy, he had always wanted a basset hound and finally, in the home they shared together, his loving girlfriend thought it was good timing to bring a baby pooch into their lives. Unfortunately, the surprise was timed a little too perfectly with her boyfriend's desires.

The boyfriend sort of froze in the door when he came inside. Obviously staring at the wiggling pup in her arms, he was shellshocked. Chelsea couldn't tell if he was excited, sad, happy, or angry– he was simply stunned. However, he gladly accepted the wiggle worm for a quick cuddle before elaborating on his reaction.

Flabbergasted, he told his girlfriend that this outrageous timing was because of a slinky surprise he had waiting for her also. In his truck awaited the dastardly surprise-ruiner who was meant to be a gift himself. As it turns out, these two were on the exact same page and had the exact same thought that day, because the boyfriend had sitting in his car, her dream puppy.

She had always wanted a chocolate lab when they would eventually get married and when she opened the door to his truck, she couldn't believe her eyes. Thrilled by the dual doggo surprise, Chelsea started crying uncontrollably. 

Immediately these two pups became brothers. Obviously neither would be returned to their adoption facility, which just goes to show you that a surprise puppy can sometimes become DOUBLE TROUBLE if you don't communicate with each other. In Chelsea and Justin's case, the double surprise turned out to be the best day of their lives.
