Every now and then you end up in the right place, at the right time. In a heartwarming video that has since gone viral, a man named Jeremiah can be seen holding a baby sloth in front of a camera, telling the wholesome tale of rescue. This sloth was struggling in the water when Jeremiah noticed that a giant Harpy eagle was attempting to make this baby sloth its next meal. As much as we love this endangered species, we could not leave this baby sloth to its mercy… luckily, Jeremiah felt the same, as he swam over and swooped the baby sloth up in his arms.
Jeremiah gave this little critter another chance at life. Sometimes you can't just let nature take its course… below you'll find the wholesome video, as well as a few screenshots of this cute rescue mission. For more, here is a pair of adorable doggos, Linda and Brenda, who arrived at a shelter together. Brenda couldn't imagine being separated from Linda, so she jumped over the kennel wall to reunite with her… they got adopted together as a result.
