Happy morning, cat people, and welcome to the cutest, most wholesome, most pawdorable cat segment on the internet. Get ready to aww, everyone, because it is officially time to meet the newly adopted faces of the week!
Every single Friday, we start your day off with a sweet new collection of wholesome and heartwarming cat adoption stories. We do it because, as cat people, we know that if there's anything that can makes us smile without fail, it's seeing a whole bunch of fluffy cutie cats find their forever homes.
As always, we want to thank every single one of you who adopted this week. And, of course, an extra special huge thank you goes to all of you who adopted the "less than purrfect" kitties - the amazing and beautiful senior cats, the sick cats, the rehomed cats and more. The journey may not always be the easiest, but we promise you that it will be worth it, and we're sure you know that too. Thank you, and have a pawnderful weekend!

"ADOPTED!!!! That's right! Marbles and Jacks head to their new home today! This lovely couple saw the post about their story and knew they could open their hearts and home to them. Their beloved kitty passed away last year and they felt it was the right time to open their hearts again. I am beyond thrilled! Have a happy life boys! It was an honor to be your foster and get you through this tough transition."
"During the Korean War in 1952, Marine Sergeant Frank Praytor cared for a kitten he had recently adopted, affectionately named "Miss Hap." With a medicine dropper, he provided nourishment to the tiny feline. When asked about her unique name, Sergeant Praytor explained that he chose "Miss Hap" as she was born in an unfortunate location and time. Remarkably, Miss Hap endured the war and found a new home with another Marine who brought her to the United States upon their return."
"This kitten was given to a group of Coast Guardsmen by children in Salerno, Italy. She was adopted, proclaimed mascot for a Coast Guard-manned tank-landing ship, and named "Dee-Day." When #DDay arrived, "Dee-Day" was aboard her ship as it hit the beaches of Normandy."
"Happy Sweet 16 to my best friend, Pumpkin! My 5 lb, constantly meowing, cuddly, intelligent, playful and quirky little lady. She is a rescued pedigree Burmese who I adopted in 2022 with her bonded friend of 15 years Mr Snuggles."
