‘He sold my Xbox; I sold his PlayStation': Boyfriend Gets His Comeuppance After Selling Girlfriend’s Xbox To Buy Himself New iPhone

Love is ironic. When falling in love for the first time, there is no blueprint you follow, you don't have any prior experience, so you have no idea what to expect. In other words, oftentimes, your first love is indeed special, in a lot of good ways. But they are also the first person to hurt you, the first person to teach you what you don't want in a relationship. In this case, OP's first (now ex) boyfriend said all the right things, despite his actions saying all the wrong things.

At one point in their relationship, OP got a birthday gift from her parents; it was an Xbox 360. Her boyfriend pounced on it, as he loved gaming, and gave her his old PlayStation instead. He also said it made more sense for the Xbox to be at his home, as 'he had a better TV'. A few weeks went by, and he sold OP's Xbox so he could buy a new iPhone.
