In Meowlandia there exist two types of 'high fashion' for felines. The first is accessory based, which started with haughty headwear and branched off into fashionable feline medical wear, such as casts and little booties for kitties with sensitive toe beans. The second is a more recent discovery, known as 'floofy fashion', originating from an attempt to embrace the simplicity of the past.
In floofy fashion, no accessories are used at all, and most of the prep work is done by the floof stylist, usually an accomplished dog groomer or hooman hair stylist. They spend hours working on the meowdol, prepping their hair in all manners of ways to best show off their natural beauty and floofiness, as the fashion shows here are more of a competition than a showcase, with the winner being awarded a lot of money. There is also talk about a backstage betting ring.

A recent trend in the feline fashion world is to have the stage set up to evoke an aesthetic that compliments the floofy feline model. Because of this, many companies have realized that they stand to gain a lot by hiring floof meowdols for their adverts, like this floof advertising bathroom sinks.
Another favorite setting to have floof meowdols walk through is plantlife, the wilder the better. This goes especially well for floors with a more regal mane look, extra points if they can roar like a lion.
