'There was a queue of people waiting to be seated!': Entitled customers think they don't have to wait like everyone else
To echo some of the sentiments expressed in this post, it's important to remember that members of every generation can be just as entitled as the next—by no means does one generation have a monopoly in entitlement. The baby boomers have their "Karens," we millennials have our "Heathers," and Gen-Z has, well, whatever they have. (Madison?)
There's a reason why you need to constantly be on your guard when working in the service industry, and that's because you never know where your next encounter with an entitled person is going to occur. It can be when you least expect it and come from someone who you thought was—and had been up until that point—completely reasonable.
