'I'm third wheeling in my own [maternity] shoot': Simba the Pitbull Steals the Spotlight in a Woman's Maternity Photoshoot, Stealing Our Hearts at the Same Time

Maternity shoots are usually all about a woman's bursting belly. Half the time, they're half-clothed pics of a basketball sized tummy and a man's hand hovering over the rock hard bump, which is certainly adorable, but in a family that includes a couple tail-wagging, fur babies, that photo might look a little different. Why not include a sweet little paw next to zaddy's hand on Big Mama's belly?

One woman recently partook in a maternity photoshoot with her dog-pack family consisting of herself, her boo thang, and a ramshackle collection of pitty rescue dogs hellbent on stealing her spotlight for the maternity photoshoot. Her dogs are literally so photogenic, that they're easily capable of taking control of the camera lens and ramping up their adorability, outshining the 8-month-pregnant belly with their velveteen smiles.

Just like in her engagement announcement photos, Nicole was outshone. As a mother of three pitbulls already, she was used to catching looks for her rescues. With an entire pack to bark on he behalf, Nicole was always a spectacle on the street. However, she hoped to garner a bit of attention for herself at least during the pregnancy announcement photoshoot they had planned. The dogs had different plans though.

During their at-home photoshoot, the photographer caught some tender moments between Nicole's husband and… drumroll… the dogs. Although she had hoped to be the star of the show, the pitbull Simba saw his opportunity to steal daddy's love during the shoot, nuzzling into his neck and offering a soft paw to hold. Hilariously, Nicole is cool with being a third-wheel in her photoshoot. The dogs are so cute you don't even notice her planetary figure and it's easy to forget the entire point of the professional photographs.

Just look at the way her husband stares deeply into the eyes of the dogs. Not that Nicole is jealous or anything, but maybe there's a little competition in the house when it comes to stardom.

So congrats to Nicole for having the sweetest household of pooches that are here to steal her man AND HER SPOTLIGHT. At least when the baby comes, we know that it won't be the only baby vying for attention in that household. The newborn will get along swimmingly with these cuddle-obsessed pooches who will most certainly love and care for it like a sibling.

So happy for them
