Does anyone else sense that the older we get, the more shy and reserved we become? We don't know, maybe it's just us but, as the years go by we become more and more comfortable with staying in rather than going on a wild night out. We become more comfortable with limiting our social circles to 3 people max with no exceptions whatsoever. And don't even get us started on the dating aspect of it all. We used to be so open and always put ourselves out there but has it gotten us anywhere? Nope, only heartbreak and disappointment.

That's why we began protecting our peace and our energy. We no longer spread ourselves so thin that we get overwhelmed with anxiety for the next two weeks. Instead, we listen to our bodies and needs and share our positive vibes only with the people who do the same for us. So yeah, we may seem shy, quiet, and introverted but in reality, you're just not worth spending our breath on. Sorry not sorry.
