There have been many times in my life when I've made impulsive decisions based on restaurant menus. I'm not exactly ashamed to admit it. If a restaurant is doing its job right then there should be something on there that's downright irresistible. How could you not order it? For me, it's a calamari appetizer at dinner. If I'm at breakfast or brunch with friends, I'm going with any iteration of eggs benedict available. I'm a fiend for my menu impulses as so many of us are. Who amongst us won't order a delicious pile of fried pickles and ranch at an American joint? Some menu items are just inescapable and I think we need to accept that.
An Askreddit thread posed this very question, "What's hard for you to resist if you see it on a restaurant menu?" Of course, many people had answers. Everything from a delicious cannoli to the coveted appetizer sampler platter. Here's everything that people said!
