Who would have thought that after all these years, Phoebe Buffet was right - it really was a smelly cat! Apparently, and this is news to us too, some people's cats have a specific smell! Ours just smells like generic cat, but according to this hilarious Reddit thread, some of them have unique smells such as (but not limited to): library books, parsley, blackberries, cotton candy, and many more!

Now, this may sound crazy, but we're not here to judge you, serious cat sniffers. We're curious! We know that cats can look like shrimp, or purrfectly baked kitty loaves, but we didn't know they could also smell like them. Our interest is peaked, and now we're just jealous that we don't have a walking air freshener in our house like other people do.

    This cat doesn't scream "maple syrup smell" to us, but we'll have to take their word for it because we don't yet have the technology to transfer smells via the internet. Actually, that's probably a good thing.

    What a very specific smell. We aren't quite sure what the difference in smell is between a library book and a regular book, but none of those things remind us of cats. Interesting! Does your cat have a strange smell?

Indeed they smelled like warm Maple Syrup. She said it was addictive and it was. Just smelled my tabby again, he smells like a fresh memograph or dittoed paper.

Not too long ago I purchased a brand new GPU, a 3070, and as soon as I opened the package I got hit with a sudden wave of nostalgia. For a few days I couldn't figure out what it was, and then it hit me: it smelled like my old cat. I'm not sure if my old Miki smelled like Nvidia products or if their products just smell like cat, but it was a nice little memory.
