There's nothing I love more than a well-done immersive experience. I had previously been disillusioned by the "immersive experience" economy that has been popping up around major cities over the past five years. I thought that 99% of them were just expensive venues for gullible teenagers to take pictures for their Instagrams. It's possible that Instagram photo generators might be what most of these Museums of Ice Creams and Van Goh projection rooms are, but that's not the kind of immersive experience I've been experiencing lately. Me and my friends went to an Eric Cartman-themed escape room a couple of months ago, and last weekend, I saw a Great Gatsby-themed immersive play. Both of these events were such a hoot because I was able to engage with the immersive elements and meet them where they were at. I felt like a kid again while pretending to be an artist at the Gatsby mansion and a South Park Elementary student sneaking into Mr. Garrison's classroom. There's something to be said about approaching life with fun earnestness, and I hope that's exactly how you'll approach these hilarious memes.
