When your cat gets into trouble, your lizard-brain will activate the fury receptors, first noticing the broken glass on the ground, damp socks, and a mischievous tail dangling off the kitchen counter. You know your rebellious feline will sometimes push a full glass of water off the countertop, but you thought perhaps he'd grown out of kitten mischief. You were wrong.
Your cat will stare at you and gloat as you pick up the shards, but of course when your anger comes down to a low simmer, you'll peer up at his globelike eyes and he'll give you the bonafide Puss in Boots googly-eyed, apologetic look and you won't be able to resist an, 'AWWWW'. Your criminally cute feline may be a bit of a mischievous pain in your tooshie, but he sure is the cutest animal on this planet. I suppose that's why feisty feline felons always get away with anything they want.
