I'm going to be honest with you all. At press time, I do not have any kids. Why don't I have kids, you may be asking? Well, it mostly comes down to this very salient quotation that more people should live by.
"Darling, if you have a baby, then you can't be the baby."
When you're a young adult, you always feel like a baby. I feel like a foolish infant compared to people in their late twenties. They are doing their times tables, and I'm still stuck learning how to walk on my own. Having a child is an immense responsibility, and it's a responsibility that I cannot maintain if I'm doing something fun after work every day. I could probably handle having a plant or a cat right now, but until I am in a long-term relationship and am financially stable, I am the only baby that matters in my world.
