Cats have it all figured out when it comes to self-care. Cats are always doing their own thing, relaxing on soft surfaces, and unapologetically chilling out. Cats won't respond to you if you're calling out their name. They refuse to be told what to do. They prefer living life on their own terms, which means leaning into their natural desires to hang out in cozy positions whenever they get the chance. Human beings, on the other hand, aren't necessarily that way.
People love to engage in hustle culture, burn the midnight oil, and get loads of work done as often as they possibly can. With such a huge emphasis on hustle culture in this day and age, when do human beings get the chance to indulge in some true self-care? Self-care might look like a day at the spa or it might be a shopping spree at the mall. It could be ordering your favorite meal to be delivered to your doorstep, or binge-watching your favorite reality TV show. Cats understand why self-care should be prioritized already. It's time for people to catch up!
