We're all adults here, or at least, most of us are. I'm sure that you've heard of the phrase, 'man-child' by now, and it is normally used to describe people (ahem, men) who have not quite grown up by a certain age. Basically, someone who can't take care of himself, even when it comes to the smallest of things. Have you ever been on a date with someone who told you that he brings his laundry to his mom's house every week? Because I have, and I remember the sheer shock on my face that I didn't even try to disguise. This, my friends, was a 32-year-old man, who still brought a basket of smelly clothes to his mother's house. Talk about getting the ick… You can bet I noped out of that one real quick. Offered to split the bill, and bounced.
Seriously, what is wrong with people? Just because you have the opportunity to not do something, doesn't mean you shouldn't do it (still talking about laundry here). As for his enabling mother, I have a few stern words for her as well! Anyhow, below you'll find a Reddit thread with a few different kinds of answers to the question, 'What screams "I'm a man-child" but nobody realizes it'.
For more, here is another hilarious Reddit thread where people discuss which red flags made them 'nope out of the date'.
