Alright, we don't know about you, ladies, but we've become masters at ghosting people. Don't get us wrong, it doesn't always come from a bad place. Sometimes just sometimes, we're a little too shy or a little too drained to entertain conversations on Tinder and Hinge and so we do a disappearing act for a few days (or weeks) and then pop up again with a, 'hey, I'm fine, you?'.
And you bet your booty the ghosting doesn't just stop at text messages and DMs. If necessary, we'll ghost a fella in a heartbeat in real life too. We don't know, maybe it's the introvert in us or we're just sick of dealing with other people's inconsistencies. But the bottom line is, we're here to protect our energy and do what's best for us. Even if that means isolating ourselves from this cruel cruel world.
