Dogs are some of the most adorable and lovable animals in the world. While they can be smart and intuitive, they also have a silly and playful side. For example when they attempt to hide in plain sight and only partially succeed. More often than not, their success in this department is kept to an absolute minimum. They do their best to shimmy under the covers or squeeze tight behind a lamp pole, but their spatial awareness is generally lacking.
Sometimes they'll even cover their eyes with their paws, thinking that if they can't see you, you can't see them. It's impossible not to laugh at their attempts to be stealthy, especially when their tails or noses give them away. Contrary to their lack of success in the hiding department, dogs bring so much laughter into our lives, and we are endlessly appreciative. There's a reason why they're called 'man's best friend.' Their silliness brings us joy, and we would not change a darn thing.
