"My mom came across this mother cat and her 8 or 9 babies. She had a chat with the person at the house, and the cat is owned by someone several houses down, but said she doesn't do a lot of care for them. My mom really wants to bring the mom and her kittens home with us, but the ethical-ness of the situation is getting to us. We don't want to take a cat away from a family, but if she's not being taken care of we would want a better home for her. Advice?"
