Earning money as a food delivery driver requires a lot of patience, effort, and energy. After all, running around picking up food from different places to be dropped off at specific addresses isn't exactly the most glamorous thing in the world. One woman took to Reddit to describe an unfortunate situation she experienced with a police officer while she was doing her job as an Ubereats driver.
While grabbing food from a restaurant, she headed to the front checkout area in search of the online pickup order shelf. A cop loudly asked who she thought she was skipping the line and added he thought she was pretty… but "not that pretty." In other words, he said her level of prettiness wasn't enough for her to feel comfortable cutting in line.
Truth be told, she wasn't cutting in line at all. She was simply trying to grab the food and leave so she could move on with her day and continue earning money. The cop did not apologize after realizing that she wasn't trying to cut in front of him. Other Redditors have responded in the thread sharing similar experiences and apologies for what she had to go through.
