Being a Marvel fan is weird. For years we had to explain to people why we like reading comic books, why these superhero stories mattered to us, and, especially, why these stories aren't just made for children. Then the unbelievable happened and Marvel suddenly became mainstream. Everyone learned who Iron Man was, why Captain America is awesome, and why Thanos is so scary. Even minor characters like the guardians of the galaxy became household names and the world was swept into a Marvel-mania.
But now, post-endgame, we once again find ourselves having to explain why we like Marvel. The last few offerings from Marvel have been… less than desirable and there is really nothing on the horizon we are looking forward to. Let's hope that after this very mediocre phase, as Marvel starts to delve deep into the story of the X-Men, the entire world would fall in love with their movies again.
