I do not know about you, ladies, but I have had a YEAR. From promotions to breakups to everything in between, this year has been an emotional rollercoaster, to say the least. There have been ups, there have been many downs, but at the end of the day, I am still here, thriving, surviving, and whatnot. Or at least I am trying my best.
Amidst all the chaos, ups and downs, I have realized that sometimes, it is crucial to pause, take a step back, and prioritize my own well-being for a change. We often get so caught up in the whirlwind of life - meeting deadlines, fulfilling responsibilities, maintaining relationships - that we often times forget to check in with ourselves. It is not selfish to put ourselves first. In fact, it's a necessity, and if anyone tells you otherwise - immediate red flag.
After all, when we neglect our mental health, we neglect our well-being and ruin possibilities for greatness. With that being said, it is time we make conscious decisions and efforts to take part in activities that rejuvenate our souls and higher selves. Be it meditation, pottery classes, or yoga by the beach. Whatever brings you closer to yourself, do it.
