AITH for not telling people I was pregnant?

Imagine starring in the world’s least glamorous action franchise, and for every “coming soon” teaser, you get Tracy, stage manager for your reproductive life, camping outside the trailer, demanding rewrites, and live-blogging every scene before the director calls action.
Some women battle morning sickness. Others, like our unlucky protagonist, battle Tracy, whose hobby isn’t collecting coins or hiking, but pirating birth announcements. Tracy isn’t really related, but she is the sort of VIP guest who thinks hospital visitor lists are mere suggestions and privacy is something that should only happen to other people. Whether it’s hijacking Facebook with spoilers, barging into delivery rooms with a camera, or acting aggrieved whenever she’s not cast as emotional support lead, Tracy’s entire personality is built on mistaking other people’s milestones for personal slights.

Five pregnancies in, and the only constant is Tracy’s relentless campaign for Most Emotionally Injured By Someone Else’s Uterus. But the third trimester of patience has a limit. Sometimes, being a good parent means locking the virtual nursery door and letting the grown-up baby take her drama elsewhere. Privacy is the best gift this mom could give herself and the rest of us can only applaud from a safe distance.
