Whenever you're feeling low, your pet can tell. A dog might come over and let you pet their head or scratch their bum, but a cat goes a step further. A cat will try its hardest to get your mind off of your woes by creating problems in the house that are far bigger than your bad day at work. Considerate cats will eat all the house plants and climb the curtains in front of you, so that you're completely distracted from your sour mood and more concerned with governing the ungovernable feline in your home.

That's a true companion.

Cats offer us something other pets could never fathom: a viable distraction in literally every scenario. When humans are faced with the trials of life, sometimes it's nice to take a step back, try to wrangle the kitten into your arms, and enjoy a nice, wholehearted distraction from the real world. And because cats aren't ONLY mischievous, your hooman diligence may even be rewarded with a tiny tail flick on your ankles, or maybe Mr. Whiskers will jump up on your lap– but for only a moment! They don't want us getting too ahead of ourselves on the physical touching.
