No need to be quiet here (Even though we wouldn't recommend shouting if you are currently at work, or at a restaurant, or, by some weird coincidence, in a library). They say books make you smarter, well these clever signs definitely make us think that there is some truth to that. Although we have to wonder if it's the books that make people smart or is it that smart people are the ones who enjoy reading books. It's a chicken and egg kind of situation - smart people enjoy learning and have the ability to store large amounts of information in their brains, so books really scratch that itch for them.
