The best feeling in the world is when you come home from a long day, kick off your shoes, and plop yourself onto the couch. Then, as the cat spots you lounging from across the room, he comes over to you, and lays in your lap purring, Nirvana hits. You've reached the penultimate in cat lover challenges and life will simply never get better than this.

I totally understand that not every cat is the same. Some cats are feral, some cats are mean, but some cats are beautiful, perfect, angel babies who have wittle paws, teensy toe beans, button noses that need booping. Although everyone thinks their own cat is the best one out there, I firmly believe that mine is #1. Cat lovers don't need to have a contest with each other to prove which kitten is the best around, but everyone feels vindicated when a guest comments on how sweet their cat is or how well-behaved they can be. Like a proud parent, cat owners will simply forget all the times that their cat is a pain in the rear and soak up this moment of their kitten being a purrfect angel.
